I’m ashamed to say I’ve always been a nail biter so my nails have always been short. I’m trying to grow them out now for playing, but they are driving me crazy. So maybe I haven’t gotten to this yet in my lessons but is there proper way to finger when playing scales? I’m assuming you’re suppose to alternate so I’ve been trying to alternate between p and i on the low E, A, and D strings and changing to i and m on the G, B, E strings.
