Dear Progress Journal,
Well I left for 6 months – life has a nasty habit of getting in the way – and left you in the dust but I’m back now and ready to pick up where I left off. Reviewing level 1 and then back to level 2. Hoping to actually participate in the next submission. That’s the goal anyway. More to follow.
Really nice playing Brian. I especially like that Tarrega piece. I think I fiddled around with that some in a past life. I think I shall go dig it out and fiddle around with it some more. You have inspired me.
Well so much for posting at least one video each month. Sometimes life gets in the way. At any rate I started working on Grade 2 after realizing that working on Grade 1 until Oct when it comes time to submit would leave me completely bored. So onto grade 2. It occurred to me when I sat down to play the piece that if I messed up nothing bad was actually going to happen. It’s just a camera aiming at me, not a gun. I mess up, so what. Start again. That and the fact that I was confident that I knew the piece well. Those two realizations changed everything.

Hi all, I have to say I’m a little surprised that there isn’t a separate forum section specifically about the guitars that people play, wish for and otherwise lust after.
