It occurred to me when I sat down to play the piece that if I messed up nothing bad was actually going to happen. It’s just a camera aiming at me, not a gun. I mess up, so what. Start again. That and the fact that I was confident that I knew the piece well. Those two realizations changed everything.

Second piece that was originally for Level 1 submission. I will continue recording myself until I get used to having a camera on me and it becomes a non-issue. We’re close.
PS and Note-to-self: It pays to be VERY familiar with a piece when recording myself. That takes most of the pressure off.
