Hi Bernie! Welcome to CGC Academy. Glad you took the plunge. You won’t be disappointed.

Thanks Martha. I have obtained the score and it looks playable. I’ll add it to my ever-growing list of music to learn.
Enjoyed your interview with Roger. He does such a good job on his podcasts. It makes the Academy even more valuable.

I received mine two days ago (in CT). In fact, I received two copies – both addressed to me but the shipping slip said the other copy was for Jose in Brooklyn. I remailed it to him. So, Jose, if you are listening your copy is on the way!
Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions. I have played “Snowflight” and “Garden Steps” years ago so maybe I’ll relearn them. I am working on Andrew’s “Home” now but I’m not sure that would be appropriate. “Asturias” is a bit beyond my capability right now. I’ll look at Tariq’s videos and check out the other suggestions.
Great submission Julie! Congrats.
Regarding your next 6 months I’m glad to see you have included Home as a possible new work. I have been working on it for the last couple weeks. It is a beautiful piece and is playable by us mere mortals.
Lots of Andrew York: Home, Equations of Beauty, Land Below Waves(Recently released. Recorded 1990s with Dirk Freymuth).
Also listening to new composers on Classical Guitar Composers Podcast (Thanks Roger R.!)
