|My Guitar Story|
I started playing classical guitar in my early 20s after discovering my father’s classical guitar in the attic. I enrolled in lessons with Russel Brazzel at my local community college and played for two years. After graduating, I dropped off playing. Twelve years later, I picked it up again. I studied two semesters at Levine School of Music in DC under Mia Pomerantz’s tutelage. I took a break again from playing soon after my husband and I started our family. Now, three little ones later, I want to get back into consistency. I decided to join the CGC community because it fits with my crazy schedule and for many of the reasons listed by members here on the site. And I love it so far! The community. The resources. The instruction. The support. And most of all, the certificate program, which really helps me focus my time constructively. I look forward to my journey with CGC! Thank you for such an awesome program!
