Linda, thank you so much for joining Roger on this podcast. I have a page of notes from this podcast.
I wish you much joy in your future projects.
Cheers,
Kari
I got about halfway through my second listen on my way to work, and am enjoying it thoroughly. Roger, you are a natural born interviewer!
It’s also comforting to hear from one so accomplished as Linda that “everything is a challenge”!
I often think that we should have a form devoted entirely to the “a” finger ;]
Thank you both,
Mark
Another great conversation! Except for that whole part about how important practice routines are. I’m actively looking for excuses so I don’t have to do them! But you are certainly right about the pieces getting harder as you advance you own skills. Things don’t get easier as you develop, the challenge of the pieces goes up just as much to match and challenge you new skills.
Another great episode! I’m a bit envious of the guitar culture in Germany after hearing this, frankly. It sounds wonderful. Thanks for being such a terrific role model for so many of us in the CGCA, Linda.
Hi Linda and Roger,
Linda, thanks for telling us about your guitar history, work, and current challenges. This was a great interview that will help a lot of us, not to mention getting to know Linda a bit better!
Hi Linda and Roger – thanks for the great conversation. Really loved hearing about the mandolin/guitar orchestras, the teaching certificates, and the puppet show music! I cracked up about the “fast” student. I think the two words I say the most in lessons are “Slow Down”! :)

A very inspirational podcast – Thank you.
These interviews are a great way to feel connected to the members of CGCA. As a new member I already am feeling part of the community.

Wow – impressive list of accomplishments Linda! (and in 2 languages ;)….)
Thank you Linda and Roger. It is helpful to hear the thoughts and perspective of more experienced players.

A great conversation! It’s reassuring to hear that even accomplished players face many of the same struggles as the rest of us!
Linda, I don’t know how you do it all! Are the days in Germany a few hours longer than in the US??
I’m looking forward to listening to more of your posts! (and of course to seeing you at Summer School next year!)
Great conversation Roger and Linda, thank you! I am interested in learning about Linda’s experience teaching students.
