Great to hear all of my favorite podcasters in one sitting!
I enjoyed the added segments, though I’m going to have to find a longer route to work (or try to get stuck in traffic–not that easy in Cleveland).
    Thanks Roger, Dan, and Simon!
    Mark

Roger, I really love listening to your podcasts! I’ve listened to all of them and I like the addition of your chat with Simon. Sorry to hear that Kevin Is leaving, as even though I just joined I felt lucky to be able to learn so much from his masterclass on Testament D’ Amelia. And Dan, your story was so interesting especially about joining the rock band in China. Good luck on your Cambridge gigs!

Thanks guys! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all your podcasts to date Roger. I think you’re doing a fantastic job! I, too, like the additional segments – very informative and helpful. What a fascinating story your life makes Dan! I’ll have to find your podcasts, which sound equally intriguing.

Looking forward to the upcoming Virgina “pluck” !!

    Warm regards, Mark C1

    Roger,

Great idea to include the additional segments and helpful to the CGC community. Enjoyed hearing about Dan’s background and his obvious love for all things guitar. Thanks for all you do!

I loved the additional segments ! Please ask Simon about when Grade 7 will be live next time Roger 😉. Interesting to hear about the China connection Dan.

I like the new format. Talking with Simon is very informative, and generally hearing what’s going on at the site is also helpful, and of course talking to the members is great. Keep up the good work Roger!

Hi Roger! Thanks for another great podcast! I like the new features. It’s helpful to get a recap of what’s happening from both you and Simon!

What an interesting background you have, Dan! I love that you’ve played in a rock band in China and have gone from drums to classical guitar! Please post an announcement on the site when you do your next gig! I would have shown up at Lily Pad if I had known you were playing!

Another great episode – keep ’em coming!

Dan – enjoyed hearing your story and congrats on your recent gigging breakthroughs. There is no substitute for experience and it sounds like you are accumulating it. I completely agree that playing for an audience as part of a band and as a solo performer of serious music are two very different things… I’m also impressed that you can function as a drummer without any serious training. I’ve tried and been told I play drums like someone who is really meant to play the guitar… :-)

Roger – like the new segments. I’d like to see the lightning round expanded, though, to include things like favorite movie, favorite cuisine, etc. Just a suggestion… I have really enjoyed these and greatly appreciate the time and effort you’ve put into these.

    Thanks
    Nels

Thank you Roger for another really enjoyable podcast.

Dan – thank you for sharing your story. It was so interesting to hear about your experiences in China as well as your recent classical performances/preparation.

Roger – I really like the new segments. I liked Simon’s idea to offer coaching calls throughout the day on Saturday – to hit as many time zones as possible. I appreciate your summary of the forum. The forum is so active, it can be easy to miss out on good topics. I am definitely going to check out the “Right Hand Alternation Best Practice” topic.
