Though I passed, Simon did note some areas that can bear improvement including properly stopping strings, left hand positioning, bending the wrist, thumb placement, plucking strings so they ring as one, etc.

Thanks, Martha. I’m someone who rarely got to the end of a piece because every time I made a mistake I would stop and start from the beginning again. My family thanks the CGC for making me submit a complete piece – they finally got to hear the end of a song!

I’m Lisa. I took classical guitar lessons for 2-3 years about thirteen years ago. I put the guitar down due to an injury in 2008 and now want to give it another go! I found this site after listening to Simon’s podcasts. I need structure or I’ll be all over the place and not make progress. So excited about re-learning the guitar!
