A short journal update, have had to adjust my practice sessions to a few 10 minute sessions each day. A hip replacement on the left side will be in my future, I than will have a matching pair. Thanks Diane, Deb and Glenn, it is nice to have such support and to be in this with you. This is going to take a lot of work to get it to where it should be, but it should be fun.
I looked at this piece and the required measures two days ago and it has been a sluggish start. The next week I will work on this one measure at a time and not worry about tempo, but will focus on smooth transitions between notes and chords.
