I removed the slurs because it was adding too much difficulty to the exercise. I would like you to play without slurs in the exercise for the exam.

I was looking into Rene’s videos to answer your question but 8:03 seems to be about using the second finger to support the barre. Was 8:03 in video 1.4 of Etude 1 the correct marker?
