The addition of segments with Simon and Dave are a great addition to your podcasts. It sounds as if you had a wonderful visit with Tim. Another enjoyable interview. We all have such varied backgrounds yet have landed at the same place as part of the community of CGCA.
Another great interview with my standmate for Majestic! I love Tim’s plan of reviewing previous repertoire and playing those in home concerts. I always thought that those “basic” pieces wouldn’t be good for playing to people, so it was great to hear how well they’re received. I had just started going back through some pieces and this gives me more motivation to do that! Where’d you guys go for lunch?
Thanks Roger for another awesome podcast. I was one of the people who got mixed up with the Metronome Challenge and really appreciated the directives from Dave. My favorite part of Tim’s interview is his use of the beginner level pieces in house concerts for friends and family. As we grow in our playing it is wonderful to revisit these pieces and add depth in ways that we couldn’t do when we first played them.

It was good to hear more about you, Tim. However, I was surprised the topic of Minions as mascots didn’t come up, since you and Roger seemed to have that as a common interest… Also, getting a bit more background from Dave on the metronome challenge was also great. I previously wasn’t quite sure where it was heading after the scales or arpeggio focus. Cheers… Richard

Great podcast with Tim. Listening to the conversation invited a sense of comfortable space. I must say I love the sound of the house, wooden floors, beams, and footsteps. Tim’s journey is interesting and meaningful, thank you!
