Crikey Roger! Are you fair dinkum about that being a Kangaroo sound? Stoked you’ve released another podcast. Another beauty. Cheers.

    Hi Roger,

So great to hear you and Simon chatting again and thank you for a very enjoyable interview with Craig. I had a lot of fun listening to his stories from Scotland. Thank you Craig!

The animal in question. I thought it was a dinosaur (never been to Australia). He really went crazy at the end and it even sounded like a man roaring in some kind of agony. For a few seconds, I wondered, is it Roger!?

Welcome back and thank you, Roger. Good to hear you and Simon. It is always nice to hear Craig playing the guitar and now to hear a bit about him in one of my favorite accents was a pleasure, thanks Craig. Wishing you a bit more free time for the guitar, I have great respect for my colleagues who first get a chance to practice at the end of the day. I hope nobody was eaten alive at the end of this Podcast.

Yay – Roger’s back n the house! Thanks for another great podcast. I loved Craig’s comment at the end about the community- I totally agree, Craig!

    Thank Roger, Simon, and Craig,
    Donna

Welcome back Roger! I missed you. I feel like Craig and I were separated at birth. I’m 40 with a 5 and 2 year old and I play guitar too! I also loved the D&D chat, that brought back some fond childhood memories. I was hoping Craig would’ve told a D&D war story, I know you have to be there to understand them but I can definitely relate. Maybe I’ll go find a game and roll a bard. 😋

Roger, it was great to hear from you after a break. I hope you’re doing well. I know this is a lot of work, and I appreciate every minute. Even the yelling kangaroo. Was that Robert at the very end? Or a kangaroo?

Craig, I enjoyed hearing your guitar story. I hope you have a chance someday to play a guitar with a demon on it. Maybe a demon fretboard inlay on a classical? Your statement about our supportive community and lack of competition and one-upsmanship resonated with me. An apt description of the CGC members.

    Roger,
You don’t know how much these podcasts mean to me. Whenever I feel a little burnt out from life and don’t want to pick up the guitar at the end of the day, these podcasts give me a total 180! Thank you!!

The longer the “Quick Chat with Simon” goes, the more off the rails it becomes and the funnier it gets.
The kangaroo grunt/yell/vocalizing really put it over the top this time. How will you top that?!

Thank you Craig for sharing your guitar journey. We joined CGCA about the same time and I think the free book was the clincher for me also. I agree that this community is what CGCA heads and shoulders above the rest.

    Bravo to all of you!
    Chad

Roger, thanks for another wonderful episode! I was concerned about the zombie attack during your chat with Simon, but it turns out both of you are fine and I will add kangaroos to my list of wild animals to avoid :)

Craig, it was lovely to hear your story! It felt like I was at a cafe listening to someone meet a new friend, so delightful!

Hi Craig -Great to hear about your journey and experience!
Roger – I think that you should add a sound bite related to each podcast interviewee from now on :)

Another great episode Roger. Guitar, D&D, and a live kangaroo right in your house. How will you top this? :D

Thank you Craig for your conversation with Roger. The story about the catalog guitar with the demon character, school, software developing, family and games all are enjoyable to learn about. Your thoughtful vision of the CGC community is a match for me. Best Regards, Drew

I enjoyed listening to Craig’s chat with you, Roger. I go back to far in the past to have been into D&D. Our son was/is a big fan and still plays online with his friends. I enjoyed Craig telling his guitar journey story and can understand the difficulty of practicing late at night after the work of the day. Looking forward to future Member Podcasts.

Great to have you back, Roger! Not to sound like a broken record, but I listened to your very inspiring podcast with Craig on a long walk today with the pooch. Please, tell the management, more podcasts! Some of us oldsters prefer to learn while walking. After listening to you, I had the Inspiration to login to CGCA on my Iphone, and there I could listen to Masterclasses while walking. How about a podcast track for the masterclasses in addition to video? PS .. Craig, you really need to find that demon guitar, I think.

Hi Roger, it’s great to have you back! Was that really a kangaroo? I almost spilled my coffee when I heard it!

Craig, I really enjoyed hearing your story, and I always look forward to your performances at open mic.

    Thanks!
    Judy
