This was a really helpful podcast. I am about to go for a guitar summer school in Iserlohn in Germany (https://guitarsymposium.de/en/start/) in one week, and I was wondering what it is going to be like. Hearing about the way people struggled with the ensemble and their strategies (just play part of the chord) was helpful mental preparation for the summer school. I hope to some day come to the CGC summer school, I think I have to wait till I get a kidney transplant as organizing diaysis is too complicated in the US.

A wonderful episode! Made me want to be there in the thick of things, part of such a great musical learning community. Wish I felt advanced enough to attend this year, but I’m still in classical guitar kindergarten. But Summer School 2026 is definitely on my radar!!!

Summer School ’24 is about a month away and I am going. It is taking me way out of my comfort zone and this podcast has been wonderfully helpful.
