Thanks Dave for your very helpful and supportive feedback.
Unfortunately, due to my exhausting working time, as I’ve mentioned in my first post, I’m not sure I could respond all the Challenge 7 requests on time.
Thanks you off to start this thread. I am new in Modes chapter, so I hope to learn this part of music theory.
Another day I was researching (and recording) harmonization C major scale. What has happened playing chord progression through the scale. I realized that I played three C major scales at once, but started from different tones.…[Read more]
Hi Tom, thanks for your feedback!
Now I present my Week 1 Challenge video. This is my zero point practicing Giuliani’s exercises 87 and 88. This game is called “Fingers Team Building”.
What is it on about? Metronome was set sixteenth notes, the first beat accented. On the first beat of measure I played the first chord note accented, too. Every…[Read more]
Thank you Joannes!
Yes, you are so right! HVL Prelude 4 is great exercise to practice arpeggio speed, consistency and evenness. But Romanza gives you wide range opportunities for arpeggio fine tuning, such as rubato and melody volume control.
Thank you Dave for your kind words. Any Lobos peace is big inspiration to work on.
And to answer your question: I am Civil Engineer. The summer time is the season of building sites, so I spend a lot of time outside in dust and noise. Job as elsewhere in the world. :-)
I like to listen the sound of your guitar, even if you are just practicing.
If I may ask you to let us hear your metronome sound, just to have complete picture of your work.
Keep on your hard working!

Big congratulations! Your playing is marvelous.
At the moment I’ve thought your baseline performance is my overall goal where I want to come.
The August is the most busy month at my job (60 working hours a week). So I won’t set many goals in Challenge 7.
In fact I am going to set only one goal, but very important to me. It is right hand weight. It is the weakest link in my arpeggio performance.
The next two Baseline videos are on where I am at the moment.
Giuliani exercises…[Read more]

Beautiful played! Looking forward to hear your rendition, Rick!;-)
Thank you all Dave, Thomas, Kari and Richard,
to take your time to watch and read my “tutorial”.
I really appreciate your kind words and your feedback! It was a big effort to make videos and especially to make descriptions, but that’s the way to be out of comfort zone.
I’m in finish phase of preparation my Submission – Grade 6, and Prelude 4 is The Star of my repertoire.
I would like to share with you some of my experiences from learning process this beautiful peace. I will post a few videos to present my exercising way. Hope it would be helpful to anyone.
