This is the first podcast that I have listened to. I enjoyed it, very informative and also makes you reflective and think about yourself. Very good, I will make sure that I will always make time to listen to these valuable chats.
Hey thanks everyone – he does something similar on another You Tube clip – but it’s with a classical guitarist. In essence he’s getting the guitarist to improve his tone & phrasing – something I need to improve on.
Shannon – your welcome – like everyone says it’s all about the community sharing.
Chris – thanks for taking the time to write such comprehensive reply. I certainly will be looking at a couple of the books and the software you recommend.
Both of you – I came home tonight after a 10 hour shift not really wanting to pick up the guitar. I read both…[Read more]
I admit I get a little – in fact – a lot lost with theory. There are some pieces I just don’t like. But CGC is beginning to open my eyes and ears as I trawl around the internet looking for answers. 2. More fluidity – against my better judgment for singing seems to help me and I have started this.
3. Measures…[Read more]
Thanks Roger & Dave – I think I’ll spend the next week finding my way around. Just had a play of the old scores from a year ago – must be the teaching that I had the first time around that I think I play them better now – well almost!!
