I tuned in to hear Linda play Drew (my husband)’s piece (it sounded so beautiful)…ended up enjoying all the compositions and performances so much! All you CGC’ers are so inspiring. Dave I enjoy this podcast…so I hope “season 2” is coming sometime in the not too distant future, you do a really good job. Thank you for what you’ve done.

Hi — I tuned in to specifically hear my husband (Drew Burgess)’s composition played so beautifully by Linda…I loved the whole podcast so much and all the compositions were so great. I am not a CGC member but I subscribe to this podcast and find you all so inspiring. Enjoy the break…but hope there is “season 2” at some point in the not too distant future.

Thank you Roger for doing these podcasts — you do such a great job!

Thank you Rebecca! I’m really excited to hear that you listen to the show, that’s so great. Drew’s composition is really beautiful and Linda did do such a great job with it. You’ll be hearing from me again in the Fall.

      Magnificent.
      I really loved this episode.
A resounding Bravo! to all the composers who shared their work. I’ll be listening to this podcast multiple times.

Thanks to all the composers and players. Your music was very inspiring. Thanks for adding your personal note for each song, that added a special personal connection.

I am totally in awe of all of these wonderful pieces and their composers. This episode should be the seed to start a composition of my own.

    Standing ovation to all!
I shall call out for an encore (and then press replay on my iPhone).

I look forward to hearing from you Roger in the fall.

    Warmest Regards,
    Chad

What a thrill! Thank you so much Roger for this wonderful initiative. I am certain, as Chad put it, that this episode will be the seed for many wonderful compositions. I am personally motivated in composing more for the guitar.
The initiative to launch a composition Study Group is an original idea of Immanuel who contacted my because we share the interest of composition. I am happy to have joined him to launch the group!
It’s again Immanuel who made it possible for my piece to fall between the hands (or fingers :) of Rick Lord who dug in the soul of it..beyond the composer’s dream!
To my fellow composers of this episode, I am very impressed and wishful to hear more of your compositions.

Another great podcast! Thank you to Roger and all the composers and performers – this was truly enjoyable, both the music and the background to the pieces. CGC rocks!
Roger – have a well deserved summer break, best wishes.

Although I will never be able to resist a RogCast, I hesitated with this one as I imagined that I would end up feeling even more inadequate than usual.

I was right, but it was totally worth it. The talent and hard work here on the Corner is truly mind-blowing, and I loved each and every composition & performance!

Thank you all for making CGC such an incredibly inspiring learning experience.

And thanks to Simon for filling the RogCast void until fall.

    Have a great summer, Roger!

This was great – thanks Roger, and to all of the composers who shared with us.

I won’t pick a favourite composition, but Les and his chook win the prize for my favourite subject matter and introduction :)
